LiDAR Cane Privacy Policy

Effective date: 12 June 2026

The short version

LiDAR Cane collects no data. None.

What the app does with the camera and LiDAR

LiDAR Cane uses your iPhone’s camera and LiDAR scanner to measure the distance to nearby objects and convert it into haptic and spoken feedback. All of this processing happens entirely on your device. No images, depth data, audio, or any other sensor data ever leave your phone, and none of it is stored.

What we collect

  • No personal information

  • No accounts or sign-ins

  • No analytics or usage tracking

  • No advertising or third-party SDKs

  • No location data

What stays on your device

Your settings (haptic preferences, saved presets, chosen voice) are stored locally on your iPhone and are removed when you delete the app. They are never transmitted anywhere.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
